Faculty and Staff Resources

Student Outreach and Support strive to build and maintain strong connections and collaborations with our staff and faculty partners, reinforcing the Safety Net and modeling a culture of care for our students.

The resources on this page, along with our available trainings (coming soon) will offer you insight into the SOS Safety Net Process, working with students in distress, and how and when to reach out for support and guidance.

Common Warning Signs of a Student in Distress

Guide to Supporting Students in Distress

This guide was created primarily to aid faculty and staff in assisting students experiencing various levels of distress. Although not an exhaustive guide, it provides some general guiding principles in assisting students in distress.
