Counseling and Psychiatric Services
Welcome to Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS)
CAPS, a unit within the Division of Student Affairs, is the primary mental health provider on campus. Our diverse staff is dedicated to helping students develop greater self-understanding, identify and solve problems, and improve academic performance through the alleviation of psychological, emotional and cognitive barriers.

All CAPS offices are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the academic year. All enrolled students are eligible for services at the Hilltop Campus. Satellite/Embedded offices serve students from the specific school only. Out-of-state? Learn more about free therapy services via HoyaWell.
