Athletics Services
The Department of Athletics and CAPS are committed to supporting the overall success and well-being of student-athletes. The CAPS Athletics Team offers mental health counseling and sport psychology services to help student-athletes prioritize their mental health as they work to achieve personal, academic, and athletic success.
Our team of licensed mental health professionals provides individual counseling, group counseling, team workshops, and consultations with coaches and staff. The Athletic Counseling Services offices are located in McDonough Arena. To learn more about CAPS in Athletics, visit the Athletics website.

Law Center Services
CAPS at Georgetown Law Center is dedicated to the mental health needs and unique challenges of JD and LLM students. Located in 500 1st Street (Suite 100) on the Capitol Campus, we provide assessment, consultation, brief psychotherapy, case management/ referral services, psychiatric medication services and workshops/community outreach events. We also offer staff consultations and trainings, as well as coordinate the process when students take a medical leave of absence.
Active full-time and part-time law students are eligible for services at CAPS. Services are provided by licensed psychologists, clinical social workers, psychiatrists, and a post-doctoral psychology associate. Capitol Campus Services
CAPS at Capitol Campus is located at 500 1st Street (Suite 100). Services are by appointment only and students can request to be seen in person or via teletherapy. At present, our ability to provide drop-in crisis services is limited; however, if you are in crisis and need to be seen as soon as possible, please contact us by phone or refer to the information provided here.

School of Medicine Services
Active students in the School of Medicine (GUSOM) and Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) programs are eligible for services at CAPS. Dr. Jade Sanders and clinician Kortney Sumner are dedicated to meeting the specialized needs of their students by providing individual counseling, workshops, outreach, group counseling, case management and referral services. All CAPS services are free for GUSOM and BGE students throughout the academic year. Services are provided in person or via telehealth appointments.
